Grace is one of nine high school scholars who participated in this year's tour.  Our diverse group of YAMS attend outstanding schools such as Grant, De La Salle North Catholic, Jesuit, Jefferson, Trillium, Rosemary Anderson, Hillsboro, and Benson.  On the tour, Grace, found a new interest in Spelman, Tougaloo and Xavier.

For more than 10 years, our team has coordinated college and heritage tours for high school students involved in rites of passage programs.  This marks the beginning of an effort to extend these unique opportunities to young people to organizations that host their own tours.  We believe that too many young people grow up without realizing the world that exists beyond their scope of existence.  These tours force the YAMZ to cultivate their brains today so they can enjoy the harvest in due season.

 On this "adventure", we will teach the virtues of Ma'at and Kemetic Principles of Life, helping our YAMS to reach goals, fulfill dreams, capture ideals and reach the stars.

Ma'at means that which is straight.  The virtues are truth, justice, propriety, order, balance, harmony and reciprocity.
